Paul Walker, gone too soon.

This weekend woke up with this terrible news, Paul Walker, one of my favorite actors is dead. Still I can't believe it, I'm sure that everybody feel the same, is this feel when you don't meet someone in person but you feel like that, because you grow up with him, with his movies, with his life..




I feel weird, very weird, sad? No, angry, Sometimes I don't understand this life but I have accept it.


He was killed in a car wreck in Santa Clarita, California. Yes, that irony right?
Part of it was that Walker always seemed, on and offscreen, like a decent, unwarped human. He'd show up to interviews wearing shirts from Kmart and somehow manage to read that fact into the record without coming off like a reverse-douche. When he died, he'd just left a car show he'd organized through his charity foundation, Reach Out Worldwide, to benefit survivors of Typhoon Haiyan. Even leaving all that out, you'd have to be a troll or a ghoul not to feel for the 15-year-old daughter


He has 40 years old, all life for live. Your spirits are wounded,always in our heart,in my heart, the heaven have an Angel.

Chicago cycling group opposes bike-fee idea

Biking on Chicago's streets can intimidate cyclists fearful of getting hit by a car. At the same time, cyclists can infuriate drivers when they ignore the rules of the road. It's the ever-present battle of bikes versus cars.
"As cycling grows in Chicago, and all around the region but especially in Chicago, we know that certain conflicts on the roadways are going to become more common,"
Chicago's cycling advocacy group is pushing for an approach to make the roads safer for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians in a way where all can co-exist and share the road

Education could be as simple as cyclists and drivers learn where bike lanes are, what traffic laws are in place, such as drivers yielding to cyclists, and what fines are for dooring cyclists, said Beth Mosher,at the editorial board meeting.

One more tool to promote safety is building more infrastructure separating bikes from cars. Since 2011, the city has built more than 45 miles of protected or buffered bike lanes.

In Chicago, there are 60 car crashes that result in injuries or deaths every day and 47 of those are people in cars and the remaining 13 are cyclists or pedestrians, according to the alliance. Recent statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration show there were 8 cyclists killed in car crashes in 2012.

Mosher said:
"We need to talk less about the blame game , or these are my roads and what have you, and more about how are we all going to take responsibility and share the roads safely,"

The interior is very winding, trying to get as much scare space as possible out of a relatively small area. It worked! By the time I reached the end I was justting the sweet spot of ready to go- not so freaked out that I couldn't enjoy and not so desensitized that I stop suspending disbelief.

Some of the cool features inside without giving away to many spoilers: very awesome animatronic beasts that get very close to you, innovative uses of compressed air guns for audible and tactile scares, and some truly disorienting rooms where either pure darkness or fog and restrained use of strobes conspire to fully blind you. If you're afraid of the dark (like me) this will certainly give you a good scare.

I screamed more than all my life!! I can't believe how you feel in a real movie! In each corner you can find a someone different waiting you for give you the most fright! Hahahaha!! The actors are really characterized and the scenes are terrifying. I went with my cousin ,I didn't let go of her hand all the way.

5 pumpkin-carving tips from Chicago master carver Robert Childers

Halloween is coming!!



Today we are going to see 5 tips for pumpkin-carving, there we go..!!!

 Choose the right pumpkin. Shape, size and weight are all important when it comes to choosing the perfect pumpkin, and it all depends on what you want to do with it. Heavier pumpkins will likely have thicker walls, necessary for intricate carvings.

 Choose your style. Childers and other maser pumpkin carvers tend to carve shapes and faces into the pumpkins rather than cutting them out.

Pick your design. Once you chose what kind of pumpkin you want to carve, knowing the design you want is key. You may not be able to carve crazy faces into pumpkins just yet, ME NO! WHO ELSE? :-) but Childers recommends starting with something simple and practicing. It’s also important to trace your design on the pumpkin before you dig in.

Get the right tools. The pumpkin carving kits sold in stores this time of year are not ideal; Childers suggests you go to an art store to get your necessary tools. Loop tools, X-acto knives and scouring pads are the best options you can have.

 Use shadows to your advantage. Using a light right above your pumpkin will show you where the shadows will happen. Shadows have the ability to make pumpkins look extra creepy, so seeing where they’ll fall and playing into the shadows while carving is key.

Wicker Park art has graffiti roots

In Wicker Park, the space between the Blue Line tracks and Milwaukee Avenue is a hop, skip, and a jump. But for graffiti artist Tyrue ‘Slang’ Jones, the distance spans nearly 30 years.

From Division to Logan, guys would hit the rooftops. The rooftops were the most visual. If West Town residents didn’t know Jones ( author these graffities) work before this summer, it’s likely they know it now. He was commissioned to produce two high-profile murals on Milwaukee Avenue: a wall-length piece inside the video arcade Emporium, followed by an outdoor piece on Evergreen Avenue along the side of the Hollywood Cleaners.

Emporium came first. After opening in March, the owners decided they wanted a mural with a “classic Chicago graffiti style” to mix with their arcades. They called Jones.

Taggers write on the side of tunnels because it’s a high-visibility area for commuters. Today, instead of using trains, Slang’s exposure comes from public, contracted works like the two on Milwaukee. The Emporium mural in particular was a full-circle moment.

“It’s a different thing from being chased away by a business owner.” He said.
